
The Company compliance and safety protocols are:
• Provide appropriate awareness and/or training programs to employees on the effects of drugs and alcohol
• Implement a structured random drug and alcohol testing program.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing of those involved in any workplace incident or where there is reasonable opinion that a worker may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Reserve the right to discipline any employee who breaches this policy or any statutory requirements including, but not limited to, termination of employment.
• Immediately remove any visitors in breach of this Policy.
• Develop and promote a safety culture where drivers are able and willing to disclose if they are impaired
by fatigue and therefore not fit for duty
• Take action where supply chain parties act (or fail to act) in a way that results in a safety risk for
others in our freight and logistics industry and our community
• Aspire to exceed legal compliance and achieve best practice.
Drivers will also :
• Take reasonable care of their health and wellbeing.
• Arrange their personal/private activities to ensure fitness for duty is not compromised.
• Disclose when they are impaired by fatigue.
• Comply with prescribed maximum hours of work and minimum hours of rest as a minimum standard in all jurisdictions with the exception of the Northern Territory*
• Keep accurate records of hours of work and rest

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information up to date, accurate and complete.

We provide individuals access to their personal information on request.

Where the security of your personal information has been breached, or we reasonably believe that it has been breached, we will notify you of that breach or suspected breach. In addition, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where required to do so under the mandatory notification of data breaches regime.

Periodically review and revise this Policy and related procedures to maintain relevance.
All suspected breaches will be investigated, and appropriate disciplinary and remedial action taken. Employees who do not strictly comply with this Policy will face disciplinary action, including counselling, formal warnings and dismissal.
